April was fairly busy for talks, beginning with an evening booking speaking about The Power of Humour in Everyday Life for the Ringwood Tuesday Club at the town's Conservative Club. The next week I was back in one my favourite towns, Cosham, speaking to Club 55 who meet in Cosham Conservative Club , the topic: The Power of Humour in Everyday Life. On the Thursday of that week I had two bookings, the first being my third visit to the Woodfalls Talkabout group.

As I chatted to members before lunch in the hotel's very good Gilbey's restaurant, there were a number of complimentary remarks about my public speaking, one of which was: "You obviously enjoy it".
