Project Cost Estimated ??

Thoughts On Presenting And Design

Yeah, kind of funny doing the math NOW. Anyway, the cost of this is going to be comparable to a new low-end bike, but more than the crap you can get at Walmart. While it’s true that this will not have 105 or Tiagra components, much less Ultegra. However, with this build, I’ll be focusing on maintaining the character of the bike, and making it rideable and safe. The silly thing is, building up a vintage frame with period parts isn’t much cheaper.

Before the pandemic, some experts had been projecting a 4% increase. The fallout from COVID-19 has been severe for the advertising industry. GroupM, a unit of WPP, predicts spending on advertising will be down 13% for 2020, reports The Wall Street Journal. There are many factors involved in the probable plunge. With economic downturns, usually the ad budget is the first thing to cut. What's unique about this time around is that the high uncertainty has put much of ad planning on hold.

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

So, to figure out why we view her this way or that way we have to know what we are projecting onto her. Because Clinton has been around so long, what we project can keep changing. When she was a relatively young First Lady, some of us relatively young women projected onto her our hopes that we could really establish new patterns. During Campaign 2016, given its volatility, there's no telling what new things we can project onto Clinton.

How Gretchen Rubin Uses Social Media to Lead The Happiness Project Movement

Succeed Speaking

Gretchen Rubin, Author of The Happiness Project. When speakers ask me how to get more exposure for their speaking business, I often advise that they think of themselves as the leader of a movement. Because when you’re leading a movement, then you’re about something bigger than yourself. By its very nature, a movement is about drawing people in and mobilizing them… and a movement is much more likely to generate exposure than an individual speaker.

Get on the Phone, Send Emails: That shows clients, prospects we care deeply about their projects

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

There is a fine line between communicating to clients and prospects that we care deeply about their projects and being an angst-ridden pest.  Today I took that risk of relaying my concerns about the hiatus in the project.  But, to get and keep clients we better master discerning that line.   Admittedly it takes a while to make the paradigm shift from being an invisible presence (as vendors once had to be) to a partner.  Initially I stumbled badly.

Now that our new economy is primarily a project one, after that project is completed, what's now standard is to move on to scramble for other projects, other resources, and other people on our networks. The rub comes when the end of the project comes and those at the top don't want to let go of prime partners.    Economic reality is that when Project A is over we free agents have to invest our all in getting and keeping Project B.

Presentation Skills: Using Your Projection Screen

Great Public Speaking

When using projection of any kind, try to avoid rooms with low ceilings and/or chandeliers. It won't make much difference for small audiences, but for large ones it is quite important. If the screen is too low, it makes it virtually impossible for those in the back to see and, of course, a low hanging chandelier will obstruct the audience's view. If you have a choice, ask for a matte finish screen.
