Well, well, he is ordered to escort prisoner Chief Yellow Hawk across dangerous terrain back to his reservation in Montana. The film "Hostiles" takes on the harsh subject of Native American and U.S. Army relations back in the Wild West. Surprisingly, the message gets through: Hate can become respect. At least for some of us. The film opens with a fatal attack on ranchers by Native Americans. The one survivor - a woman - sits catatonic clutching her dead baby.
