Instead I was asking others (who LinkedIn said I knew but in many cases didn’t) to link to me. LinkedIn ApologiesI should have read the screen more carefully. In clicking “accept all”--or whatever it was--I thought I was simply accepting those who asked to link to me.

And that's what I recommend. Products fail and are taken off the market.

Not just the news. That's the result of the drama or melodrama injected into more and more human activities. That's to position and package them as worth paying attention to.

That's why it's puzzling to observe on high-profile LinkedIn Pulse posts which consistently are in the no, single or only double digits in all the categories. Branding now includes the number of page views, likes, shares, and comments your published content receives. Yet the authors -- The Smugs - continue to use that platform. Their branding is dinged. It seems odd that they would not make it their business to attempt progress on the learning curve.
