Captain Sean Bailey announced the deaths on the ship's Facebook page. During the past two years a total of five assigned to the carrier took their lives.

Cruel Irony: Could Laws to Prevent Suicides Be Increasing Them?

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

No one has come up with a good explanation, for example, for the dozen lawyers in Kentucky who committed suicide from 2010 through 2013. New York City taxi driver Roy Kim hung himself on November 5th. That was the 8th recent suicide among the city's cabbies. And, collectively they are part of the dramatic rise in suicides among American workers of all kinds. The first two were and probably still are achievers eager for traditional success in a white man's world of privilege. Caulfield considered that tribe a bunch of phonies.

Six years ago, before preventing suicide became the national meme , I coached a lawyer who had two strikes against him. He was middle-aged since he had entered law school as a second career. The rate of suicide goes up as men age. Secondly, he had been knocked out of the partner box as an eight-year associate. That meant he went from $300k to zero, given that he was unable to work.
