April was fairly busy for talks, beginning with an evening booking speaking about The Power of Humour in Everyday Life for the Ringwood Tuesday Club at the town's Conservative Club. The next week I was back in one my favourite towns, Cosham, speaking to Club 55 who meet in Cosham Conservative Club , the topic: The Power of Humour in Everyday Life. On the Thursday of that week I had two bookings, the first being my third visit to the Woodfalls Talkabout group.

Because my talks often involve anecdotes about amusing incidents that have happened at other speaking engagements, audiences usually assume that at my next booking I will be telling a story about them! As I was clearing my props away on the stage at the venue, a VCO (now known as WI Advisors) started delivering a talk of her own, which began with asking whether any of them had considered how, for example, self-massage could lead to 'a whole new you'.
