The purchaser’s inability to assess what they are “actually” buying until it’s too late and whether it’s worth it or not. The person or group that hires the shill is using crowd psychology , to encourage other onlookers or audience members (who are unaware of the set-up) to purchase the said goods or services. The slimy promoter says the purchase was made the day of the seminar. Five weeks later the fulfillment company ships you the CDs which you deem are terrible. ….Oops.
