From Golden Boy to Possible Lawsuit target.    That's the reversal of fortune which is hovering over the career of Pulitzer Prize winning investigative reporter and best-selling book author Ronan Farrow, reports the New York Post.    Incidentally, Farrow is also known for taking on his father Woody Allen who had been accused and cleared of charges of sexual misconduct. Another platform for his celebrity is that his mother is Mia Farrow.

"Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, have agreed to plead guilty to fraud conspiracy charges." " -   Melissa Korn, The Wall Street Journal , May 21, 2020.    This latest development in CollegeAdmissionsGate is expected to be announced tomorrow by video. Specifically, Loughlin will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. It is expected that will result in two months in prison, along with a $150K fine.

We who value that felt optimistic about the future of the publication when the Emerson Collective, controlled by Laurene Powell Jobs, parachuted it. That represented, we assumed, a funding safe harbor. We were wrong. The collapse in advertising has impacted even The Atlantic, reports the New York Post. In addition, the funds which had come in from special events such as conferences didn't.
