This is not a sweet tale for well-meaning liberals. Oberlin College can become the symbol for noble intentions backfiring and the need to investigate before pushing back. In the New York Post , Ben Feuerherd reports: "An Ohio jury on Friday slapped Oberlin College with an $11 million damages penalty for siding with three black students who had claimed they were victims of racial profiling after they were caught shoplifting in 2016."
