Next Door provides everything that ordinary folks used to get in The Old Neighborhood. That everything ranges from genuine caring to a referral to an affordable lawyer. Essentially Next Door is an email listserv. There is one for each geographical area, such as here in the North Commons part of Toledo, Ohio.    It was through snail mail that the North Commons Next Door folks introduced themselves to me. I had just moved here. Obviously, Next Door is well organized.
