Meanwhile, the brands of some retail discounters such as the dollar stores have become tarnished, as The Wall Street Journal reports. They are being targeted for everything from allegedly selling merchandise after the expiration date to pushing full-service grocers out of low-income neighborhoods.

That means lenders suffer unexpected losses on merchandise loans.   Yes, web traffic is way up to news sites. For example, subscription prices frequently are being discounted and ads in categories such as travel are nowhere. Human nature continues to be puzzling.

At GoodWill, both males and females were totally preoccupied with sizing up the merchandise. Also, the discounts associated with its rewards program kicked in. Since I now am enrolled in that program I can't double-dip with the over-60 discount one too. At the check-out, with all the discounts totaled, the two sweaters set me back only about four dollars.
