Mixing and Matching Characters from "Chicago P.D.," "Chicago Med," and "Chicago Fire"

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

So, it's brilliant of him to cross-pollinate them on his three Chicago series: "Chicago P.D.," " "Chicago Med," and "Chicago Fire." For example, in one episode of "Chicago P.D.," It's the hospital administrator from "Chicago Med" who gently talks Voigt into ending life support. In another episode of "Chicago P.D.,"

Last night's episode of the Wednesday "Chicago Fire" featured a woman who had become a victim of the online dating scene. Currently, according to the elaborate fabrication he put together, he was in Chicago, visiting from the state in which he lived and worked as an aviation engineer. The Chicago fire crew had been called in. It turns out he was actually had been based in Chicago, with a low-level job, and the father of four children.

Dick Wolf's "Chicago PD" Needs Work

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

In season 7, Dick Wolf's "Chicago PD" added 10% more viewers. One of the attractive features of the programming is parachuting in our favorites from the 2 other Wednesday night Wolf Chicago platforms. They are "Chicago Med" and "Chicago Fire." However, the issue is: Can "Chicago PD" continue to scale or will it peak, and if Wolf's genius continues to operate, and go on to cruise at relatively high ratings?

"Chicago Med" - I Want a Lawyer

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

" Now, it's becoming a part of the Wednesday hit "Chicago Med."   Reflection: Will members of the legal sector push back on no-lawyer-zone for this controversy on last evening's "Chicago Med?" Producer Dick Wolf created a signature of bringing controversial issues to television dramatic programming.    That started with "Law & Order," as well as its spinoffs such as "Law & Order SVU."

Chicago!

Max Atkinson

A few days ago, I logged on to Expedia to book a flight from Detroit to Chicago, from where I was due to fly back to Heathrow. So here are a couple of helpful tips for anyone who might ever have to book an internal US flight to Chicago and/or have the misfortune to fly out of Terminal 5 at O'Hare airport. Unknown to me until yesterday, there are two big airports in Chicago, and I'd mistakenly booked a flight from Detroit to Chicago Midway to catch a Virgin flight to Heathrow.

More "Chicago Med," Less "Court TV," "Shark Tank"

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

Producer Dick Wolf, who invented "Chicago Med," would be smart to exploit the surge in popularity about Everything Healthcare. He can put together a three-hour special set in the "Chicago Med" box about the inner workings of a healthcare center and the inner lives of those who labor there, selflessly. The front lines of heroism during these Coronavirus Times are the selfless and exhausted medical doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and EMTs.

No Nuance - "Law & Order SVU," Wednesday Chicago Shows

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

The three-hour special of all his Wednesday evening Chicago shows seemed off in terms of believable plot and excellent acting. "Law & Order SVU" is Dick Wolf's longest running series. But, that might not be for long. The new season started out, according to TVSeriesFinale , down 24.61% from the previous season. And it's been on a downward trajectory since. For the 10/10/19 episode viewership was at 3.41 million, a drop from the season's beginning at 3.83 million.

"Law & Order SVU" and "Chicago" Mix & Match - Dick Wolf Makes It to Another Season

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

On NBC, both Wolf's long-running Thursday "Law & Order SVU" and his Wednesday Chicago trio (Med, Fire, Police) have been renewed for yet another season. Does producer Dick Wolf "own" NBC?    Right now and into the 2020 - 2021 television season, it sure looks that way. The New York Post provides details. Many are aware of Wolf's formula of developing plots "ripped from the headlines."

The platform for that franchise is the city of Chicago. There it is: Chicago in all its political rawness, corruption, racial tensions, points of transition, crime - and big heart.    So, far there are three Chicago series. They are: "Chicago Med" "Chicago Fire," and  "Chicago P.D." " Voight heads the elite intelligence unit in the Chicago P.D.

"Chicago PD" - But, We Could Be the Ones Pursued/Arrested

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

One thing all "Chicago PD" viewers will agree on is this: How raw the content is. Produced by Dick Wolf, the series is about how the members of that Elite Intelligence Unit on the Chicago Police Department are caught in transition. Surely, Chicago is better off without those lowlifes. The tone, plot action, and scenes mirror what made "Reservoir Dogs" so memorable.

"Chicago PD" - Morally Ambiguous Show with Tough Moral Lessons

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

Last night's "Chicago PD" began with the murders of an upscale family.   Well, the elite unit of the Chicago police department has made a pact to keep the suicide a secret. Actually it had fallen on hard times but kept up their lifestyle through dealing drugs. Their killer will also be held responsible for the murder of a cop. The cop's death actually was a suicide. To try to stay in front of his gambling debts he was stealing, which had been discovered.

It's also from internet surfing habits, video games, and fitness routines like working out.

"Chicago PD" - Re-homing Episode Pushes Up Against Liberalism

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

As fans of "Chicago PD" well know, the members of the elite squad are caught between two worlds. There is the old-line one in which the law only serves as guidelines. Yes, traditional trickery during interrogation and brutality are okay. The other is one that attempts to play by the book. That mindset is trying to get the upper hand. Well, in Wednesday's night episode many viewers probably were cheering for the law as guidelines approach. The plot line involved re-homing.

If medical personnel at Mount Carmel Health System knew there could be an undercover agent in their midst there might not be the current allegation about William Husel M.D. The possibility of a spy in some form - doctor, nurse, aide, administrator - could deter crime against patients.

CHICAGO OUT! - Blow ripe for conspiracy theory

Jane Genova: Speechwriter - Ghostwriter

So, those in America who expected Chicago to be the location of the Olympic games need at least one narrative of how the fates were made to conspire against the city of Chicago and perhaps the U.S. A competitor or competitors might have designed a scheme to trigger violence in the streets of Chicago.  Putting together conspiracy theories helps a society in shock.    That's why there were so many regarding the murder of President John F. Kennedy.
