Fortunately, Keynote allows you to do this, by recording your presentation with the appropriately named option in the “Play” menu. Unfortunately, Keynote will only take one recording. You can’t piece multiple recordings together. Sometimes, we may find ourselves in a situation where we want to make our presentation (at least the audio part) and slides available for viewing at a later date. If you’re like me and you feel more comfortable in front of an audience than recording your talk, this can be a problem.

Some visual thinkers challenged me to write a very short presentation about the power of visual thinking during these tough economic times. We recorded audio, synced it up in and here’s the final result.
Presentations are only as good as the idea, visuals and delivery. So I whipped out our presentation map and got to work.

Clay Shirky , author of Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations , has a new TED talk that is not just appropriate for our times in general, but given what is happening in Iran, it's actually perfectly poignant for this particular week. This talk below was recorded just last month, but the contents are especially relevant today if you consider what is happening in Iran at this moment. Looking at faces of people you know & like gives your voice and body language more oomph and power. (Bonus Yes, hang it, I video record all my presentation rehearsals. Don't have a video recorder? Record your presentation without video. Practice makes perfect, right? Not really.

8221; It’s been a lot of time at the recording studio. And during that time, I’ve regained appreciation for the power and importance of the pause.
In listening to the initial recording of the book, the biggest mistake I made was not pausing long enough at certain points.
This week, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on the audio version of my book “How to Win a Pitch.” For example, I would be reading a chapter and would come to a section where there is a new thought and a headline to introduce that thought.
