In 1904, the Sherwin-Williams corporation put out there an advertisement promoting its lead paint.    Now, that ad could influence the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) not to review Sherwin-Williams' conviction in the class action lead paint public nuisance litigation "County of Santa Clara v. "  The California Supreme Court had previously said no to a review. Before that, the CA court of appeal refused to overturn the conviction.
