Following is a list of questions that speakers should ask meeting planners in getting ready to speak at an event.    You won't need to ask all of them all the time; the list is meant to give you a broad set of ideas.    A.    The Venue When is the speech taking place? Where? How many in the audience? What time of day? How long should the speech be? Will the audience be eating or have eaten? What is the hall like? Is there lighting?
