Because of the tension that exists between the United
States States and Muslims around the world, there was potential for a
hostile took an approach that might well be used by anyone speaking to a

and In yesterday’s post , I said that Obama’s speech at Fort Hood was not his best ever, but I didn’t say which speech I thought was his best.
Most of Obama’s speeches are good, but his best speeches, in my opinion, were the most difficult to deliver.

Part of what prompted the creation of Speaking Pro Central was a presentation that I was doing to the Los Angeles chapter of the NSA. I’m very much looking forward to continued conversation on this topic and plan to do a little bit of blogging here about things related to my personal Speaking and Workshop Services .
I recently was fortunate to be able to post an article (Blog) in the Huffington Post titled, The United States The presentation was on the use of Social Media - especially Blogging, Twitter and LinkedIn as a means of building reputation and reaching prospects.

He began with a brief summary of the state of the economy, including statistics of job losses and financial collapses. It shows you understand your subject well enough to use stories or anecdotes to illustrate your message and you understand the audience's needs well enough to ensure that the examples speak to their experience. Even the President of the United States admitted, in answer to a reporter's question, that he didn't know the specifics she was asking Participants in my presentation skills workshops typically cite concerns about not being credible to the audience as one of the key contributors to their presentation nervousness and anxiety.

Yesterday I saw a great example of making an abstract concept concrete, when the CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, Wayne Pacelle, described the living conditions of a laying hen in a battery cage. That is heart-breaking, it is wrong, and no one should be treated that way in the United States of America.” He ends up by stating the obvious, “that is heart-breaking” to drive home the point.
I watched U.S. President Obama’s speech this morning, having taped it from last night.

When he spoke at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Obama’s memorable moment came when he said:
“There’s not a liberal America and a conservative America — there’s the United States of America.” Using a list of three words or phrases in succession is a time-tested technique for creating memorable hooks.
This past week, President Obama was criticized for not making his inauguration speech more memorable.
There were certainly quotable sections, but not the clear “hook” that Obama has been known for.
