Sukhi's , a company that makes great Indian food, started out serving their dishes to Indian workers in Silicon Valley and in a booth at the Ferry Plaza farmers market in San Francisco. In addition, booths with samples allowed exhibitors to share ideas for preparing the products and pairing them with other foods, and to offer recipes and menu suggestions. wrote Alan, regretting that I couldn't attend a seminar he was doing in my hometown of San Francisco because I would be speaking for the Denver NSA chapter that day. "Hey, My side of the stage is filled with binders, notes, and samples that have been diligently prepared over many months. Be prepared (at first) to work harder selling seats than delivering the seminar.

Last June, I made a trip from Osaka to San Francisco to film a video version of the PZ book. The results of those days spent in the San Francisco studio will be available on a DVD sold on Amazon and in book stores etc. Instead we spent over two days in the studio as I spoke to the camera about the three elements of a presentation — the preparation, design, and delivery — in front of a green screen. from June 25. I saw this article in the San Francisco Chronicle awhile ago and it piqued my interest.

According to a team of Dutch scientists, walking backward helps people think more clearly.

It is a beautiful spot—a hidden jewel of raw wilderness just a short drive from the bustling small towns of Marin and the big city of San Francisco.
So I work with them to prepare for that uncomfortable opening moment. I took a walk today at Lake Lagunitas , one of my favorite Marin County hiking spots. This lake is part of the Marin Municipal Water District and supplies good old tap water to our entire county.
