would love to see more tools available which work within the most common slideware – PowerPoint and Keynote. That’s because I think it’s much easier for you as a presenter if there’s just one application open on your laptop – rather than having to click between applications during your presentation.
Both Keynote and PowerPoint have add-ins which allow you to automatically send a tweet when you click on a slide. Presenting while people are tweeting is challenging – but also adds a new dimension to the presentation experience for your audience. Gradually tools are being developed

PowerPoint users are frequently seen standing in one place, pushing a button on their computer to advance their slides. This is almost as restrictive as standing behind a lectern, although sometimes people walk around in between slides.

Inspired by Laura Bergells' recent PowerPoint propaganda post about changing fashions in PowerPoint, Olivia Mitchell pulled together a group of bloggers to participate in a group writing project about what we'd like to see in PowerPoint slide design this year. I could go on and on about how to make PowerPoint presentations more effective, but I'll stick to my top three suggestions for how I'd like to see speakers using PowerPoint in 2009 (you'll notice that I've strayed from the topic of "design" a bit). But if you want even more flexibility to write from other places in the room, or to let your audience write on the screen, try Papershow , a more portable solution that works around the shortcomings of white boards and it works with imported PowerPoint presentations.
These don’t add much weight to a briefcase or laptop bag. If you don’t have a Tablet PC to write directly on your slides during a BBP presentation, you can always use a whiteboard as a companion to your screen. What Comes in the Package

And when using PowerPoint, sometimes the small tips make the biggest impact. These tips are ways to use PowerPoint that, once you discover them, you see how valuable they will be to you. If you want to preview your slide show from the current slide in a small preview window in the top right hand corner of your screen, hold the Ctrl key down and click on the Slide Show button at the bottom of the PowerPoint window (It looks like a screen and in PowerPoint 2003 it is in the lower left corner; in PowerPoint It is usually the little things in life that can make the biggest difference.

So my #1 feature of PowerPoint 2010 is a bit intangible, but easily seen and that is the slideshow performance is great. And all of this is while running the pre-beta version on a very small laptop with a 64MB graphics card, 1.5 Tags: PowerPoin My top request, hope, begging was for slideshow performance. Bobby at Microsoft reassured my for more than a year all my animations would run great - and they do!
