especially those found within PowerPoint (there are a few nice ones on Keynote).  2009 was my first full year of blogging and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was able to both educate and connect with my readers, two things I love doing.  Like all blogs, 2009 had it's share of posts that were better received than others.

In the information and videos I’ve seen, I think Apple has addressed Jan’s fourth point because I saw a video of a marker and a highlighter being used on a Keynote presentation in full screen mode (watch the video at Engadget starting at 0:50). So presenters will be using Keynote as the presentation software. The uncertainty Jan Schultink gives us his first thoughts on the iPad and presentations here . But here are my thoughts from a corporate perspective, remembering that all I have to go on are the reports and videos from the launch event, I haven’t seen an actual device.

Even better, Seth dispels the myth that only people with artistic skills can create effective PowerPoint presentations (from what I could tell, Seth designed his slides using Keynote on his Mac).  This is Part 2 of a 3 part series, wrapping up my thoughts about Seth Godin's Linchpin Session in NYC on Friday, January 15th. would love to see more tools available which work within the most common slideware – PowerPoint and Keynote. Both Keynote and PowerPoint have add-ins which allow you to automatically send a tweet when you click on a slide. The Keynote add-in looks a lot more robust. Presenting while people are tweeting is challenging – but also adds a new dimension to the presentation experience for your audience. Gradually tools are being developed to make it easier for you as the presenter to manage the backchannel.

Fortunately, Keynote allows you to do this, by recording your presentation with the appropriately named option in the “Play” menu.  Unfortunately, Keynote will only take one recording.  With this limitation of Keynote, I sought to find a solution.  Sometimes, we may find ourselves in a situation where we want to make our presentation (at least the audio part) and slides available for viewing at a later date.  You can’t piece multiple recordings together.
