Next year’s AATH conference is April 22-25, 2010, at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Anaheim, California.
...Tags: I can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Humor Month than to spend four days at the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH) conference. With nearly 200 people attending from around the globe, we spend four days laughing, learning and making new friends.

Las Vegas or Detroit?
Detroit is taking meeting business that would normally be suited for Las Vegas or other resort destinations.
wish I was smart enough to figure out how Vegas can get back the business they’re losing. Knowing the Dixie Chicks are right that “time heals everything” doesn’t help if you’re in any “ So where would you rather hold your next convention? No, this isn’t a bad joke.

But his family were based back West, so he got a gig performing in Las Vegas called the Stratosphere. From here he ended up playing The Mirage Hotel where The Danny Gans Theatre was built for him. In 2008 he was named “Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year” for the 11th year in a row.
If I was surprised to hear of the passing of musical impressionist Danny Gans who was 52. While you may not have heard of Danny Gans his story is certainly fascinating.

perfect example of how everyone makes a difference is when I was in a Nashville hotel attending a board of directors meeting for the National Speakers Association. was so impressed, I wrote a letter to the hotel manager congratulating him on his staff and especially the waitress at the coffee shop.
As the late great radio personality Paul Harvey said when we spoke at a convention in Las Vegas, "For a company’s Good Customer Service Is More Than Good PR
At a time when every customer counts we must never forget how our customers see us.

The next Fripp Speaking School is November 14-15 in Las Vegas. Fripp often coaches clients in their hotel room. She jokes about being locked with people in a hotel room. Guy Burns suggested that he was in a hotel room attaching a microphone to Fripp’s panty hose. Here is an Observational Humor Monologue presented at a Fripp Speaking and Presentation Skills School .
