Another school of thought would compel you to read the audience in real time as you go through the presentation and interact or extemporaneously strike off in a direction of their choosing by reading the crowd. While mine is a unique example to introduce into this discussion, I do see Web conferencing becoming more widely used/accepted mainly because cutting down air travel is good for the environment and makes for good fiscal policy for businesses operating in a tough economy.
