PowerPoint is a great tool for creating presentations, but it has never been particularly good at creating documentation or handouts. However, it is a huge amount of work to maintain two completely separate sets of documents. This simple little addin fills the gap very nicely by providing a simple yet powerful documentation creating capability for PowerPoint. Enter George! for PowerPoint by Leaders Guide Pro.

1.      Prepare your material before you design your slides: Many people start their message development by filling in their PowerPoint template. 2.      Create three separate documents: Remember that PowerPoint cannot serve three masters at the same time so keep your speaker notes, handouts and PowerPoint slide deck as separate entities. If I'm creating a PowerPoint, I will often use the story template from Cliff Atkinson's book " Beyond Bullet Points ." The story template is similar to a regular outline, but also builds a series of opening and closing slides to set the scene for the presentation. It's a conversation that requires both parties to give it life. I bring my notes to the workshop and refer to them as necessary, using a document stand off to the side. I've heard many speakers say that they create their presentation at the last minute, don't practice, and basically wing it , all because they don't want to lose spontaneity.
I don't mind sending you my presentation in advance, but not for you to squeeze it into your template and print it for every attendee to see.  First, your desire/need/demand for us to fit our PowerPoint or Keynote presentation into your pre-designed template is hurting everyone.  Your template, which is often quite ugly, destroys the integrity and effectiveness of our slide.  Dear Conference Hosts, Please, stop killing our presentations.  We spend weeks, months, even years designing and creating our presentations. 
Strip away everything that’s not relevant, if you need to write lots of text consider a document or report. Avoid using bullet points, difficult as there are templates built in to PowerPoint that uses them, but there are also blank slides too. Or, as I mentioned earlier, don’t do a presentation send us a document instead! Templates Templates When it comes to templates, what I’m looking for is quality, not quantity.  However, it lacked quality templates.  What’s important is that there are professional-quality templates as well as easy to access options for simple, unobtrusive designs. It was with great joy that last month, I uninstalled Office 2004.  The software, PowerPoint 2004 included, were getting on my nerves and there was nothing that suite could do to repair the broken relationship we had.
