It’s really tough to have a human form that looks activated and engaged without looking like they are a whacked out concert-goer. More of the business-types and engineering purists liked Option 2. The first book cover design had near unanimous feedback that it looked too much like Seth Godin’s Tribes book: Argh.

Until I made a concerted, personal effort to learn how to design effective presentations, I wasn't very good either.  Graphs are designed (correctly) in 2D, with different graph types in order to highlight different types of statistical information.  The majority of PowerPoint templates are terrible.  I'm referring to the default templates found within PowerPoint and Keynote, as well as those created by design firms that don't specialize in presentation design.

The role of avoidance -- a type of security move -- is complex. If I have to sit in the middle seat at a concert, so be it. I've written before about my own experiences with panic attacks , about thought traps that mistake emotions for reality , dealing with setbacks , and letting go of the negative . All of those articles include helpful tips for dealing with anxiety, but here's the most valuable of all: Avoiding the thing that triggers your anxiety is the best way to keep it hanging over your head and controlling you.

He hired out a concert hall and Los Angeles which paid off as he landed a stinit at the Neil Simon Theater in New York. Those types of performers don’t tend to exist any more. I was surprised to hear of the passing of musical impressionist Danny Gans who was 52. While you may not have heard of Danny Gans his story is certainly fascinating.
