If you want to be a better speaker, start working on your one-on-one communication skills. Sure, there are some speakers who are able to fake it onstage and aren't good communicators in person, but to really shine as a speaker, connect with your audience and radiate authenticity, your one-on-one communication skills are the place to start.

A guy I know just asked this question on his Facebook feed: Are you a fan of Tiger Woods: Yes/No My first reaction was to think not about my answer, but about the question. Loaded Questions are questions which presuppose ideas or facts. I'm just asking questions, your honor!" Why was I uncomfortable with it?

m not surprised that people in both corporate and government settings have turned to PowerPoint in an attempt to summarize their communications. If we take a long hard look at what we want to accomplish, I think we’ll see that there are much better tools to accomplish our inter-office communications goals than PowerPoint. Absolutely.
