Keep it Simple: Use only black and white slides - The use of black/white (or white/black) slides is truly indicative of a lazy presenter.  Using black/white is not inspiring, eye-catching, or engaging.  It involves some simple design techniques that anyone can use, but it does involve working hard.  Recently I stumbled upon a 2007 blog post from Neil Patel at QuickSprout.com .  It was entitled "The Lazy Man's Way to Building a Great PowerPoint Presentation."   I have to say, I found myself disagreeing with most of it...so
