Back in March of 2008, I wrote a blog post about his speech on race in America . Because of the tension that exists between the United States States and Muslims around the world, there was potential for a hostile America’s virtues, Obama praised Muslims for their contributions to America In yesterday’s post , I said that Obama’s speech at Fort Hood was not his best ever, but I didn’t say which speech I thought was his best. Most of Obama’s speeches are good, but his best speeches, in my opinion, were the most difficult to deliver.

Lady Liberty Symbolizes All That’s Right about the United States in a Uniquely Powerful Way This year, in the weeks before 9/11, I started to think about what I believe is the most powerful symbol of all that is right about the United States, not just for Americans but for people around the world. Each year, as we in the USA celebrate the Fourth, as it is known, I reflect and remind myself that our precious freedoms allow me to live life in a way relatively few others on the planet can.
