Each year, Global Citizen Year (GCY) selects a Corps of high school seniors, and supports them through apprenticeships with social enterprises in Asia, Africa and Latin America during a “bridge year” before college. Speakers had trouble conveying that GCY is an integral step in American education experience, not a “break” or an “alternative track”. Much of the terminology we, including the media, used to rely on to categorize America is irrelevant. 0160; Among those terms are: Middle class, white collar, and educated. 0160; They're blank checks of no descriptive value because they tell us nothing about the employment status or marketability of the so-called middle class, white collar, or educated. 0160; In addition, as those labeled that way admit, reports Gary Langer in ABC NEWS, they are most more concerned about being able to simply pay their bills.

It's come to this: I ask the Public School System in America and other nations [yes, requests come from Canada which has adopted Informed Choices classes versus pounding the 3Rs] to put me out of business. If public education dumps the frills and has the courage to teach critical thinking and exposition, about 80% of those who contact me about ghostwriting something for them won't be contacting me.
