Having a speaking page has given me lots in the way of evidence that I’m doing okay when it comes to presenting. Social Proof I also use my LinkedIn profile to get recommendations from people who’ve seen me speak, and I list professional speaker as one of my “jobs” on the site. tested this method, but to my dismay it took around 15 minutes for either search site to register my test tweet. These rooms were completely free (with the occasional advertisement) and they don’t require any signup or registration from the guests. Last month Nancy Duarte spoke at Web2.0 Expo and it was a huge success.
