A  Nov 2009 survey of HR managers , found 57% of HR managers consider simple typos or grammatical errors “deal breakers” when hiring. Take extra effort to create a positive impression every time you write. Improve your business reputation and write right! You open an email and form an opinion of the writer. Bam!

The more you write, the more likely one of your creations will be a gem.  Your best line is rarely the first line you write.  In fact it probably isn’t in the first ten lines you write.  Just when you think you can’t come up with anything else…write ten more lines. Our Quirky Medications contest featured many great lines from our readers.  Let’s look at a few of the techniques that people used for coming up with humorous twists.

The theme is "What would you like to see in PowerPoint slide design in 2009?" Let me then revise Olivia's charter (as did others) to focus on what I'd like to see in PowerPoint, or even just what I'd like to see in presentations in 2009. And, You could bombard them (as did Tom Peters in this example) or you could leave PowerPoint completely out of the picture (as Edward Tufte did in the story at the end of this , my favorite YouBlog post).         So that's what I'd like to see from PowerPoint THERE'S AN INTERESTING TOPIC being bandied about by some of us presentation blogger types that you might find valuable.
