Murray that has come to be close to my heart since my arrival in San Diego as it has proven to be true a million times over. I left the room after each one happy to be a woman, and excited to take what I had learned, and the enthusiasm I felt out into my world to pass the knowledge on to women I know. We also attended a break out session where Casey Gwinn, CEO of the YWCA San Diego, and one of the Women’s Leadership Institute’s biggest fans, spoke about the exciting things in store for the YWCA San Diego. The butterflies in my stomach accompany me to every speaking engagement. From doing public service announcements for the YWCA, to my speech at the Women’s Leadership Institute, to my two live news interviews week before last on KCBQ 1170AM and NBC San Diego 7/39 I am able to see my progress. by Lana Culliver With this being my fourth week Blogging for Speak for Success and the week of my birthday I have been in a very reflective mood.
