My brother Robert Fripp and his wife Toyah Willcox are performing for the President of Estonia as part of their celebration of their independence. Like when you go to a concert and the singer shouts, "Hello, Santa Barbara!" Driving down State St. last week, hubby and I spotted a sign in the window of a soon-to-open Pinkberry: "Pardon our dust as Santa Barbara awaits Pinkberry's flagship store." Did Pinkberry really need to remind me that the store is opening in Santa Barbara?
Last night we saw Rufus Wainwright in concert at small local theater. If you think his voice resonates on a CD, you should hear him live, solo, with just his piano or guitar as accompaniment. Absolutely gorgeous. About halfway through the show, there was a snag.
