Recently I stumbled upon a 2007 blog post from Neil Patel at QuickSprout.com . I realize there are situations where you only have a short time to design and prepare. It simply takes hard work and preparation.
It was entitled "The Lazy Man's Way to Building a Great PowerPoint Presentation." I have to say, I found myself disagreeing with most of it...so so

I've experienced several short (15 minutes or less) presentations lately where the speakers had plenty of time to prepare (months), but gave the appearance of flying by the seat of their pants. Some problems with lack of preparation: 1. Tags: Preparation Pet Peeves Public Speaking Techniques and Strategie And not in a good way. You have no opening, so the audience keeps talking because they don't know you've started.
