Animated Trailers My first encounter with movie trailers for print books--rather than films made from books--was the VidLit for John Warners Fondling Your Muse. VidLit may be an excerpt from a book, or a synopsis. The VidLit team does a nice job of making nonfiction books seem entertaining as well as edifying. and more!

Wanting to do paid speaking is similar to wanting to write a book: it sounds like paradise until you become familiar with how the industry works. My friend Penelope Trunk wrote a great post called 5 Reasons why you dont need to write a book. If you write a book, speaking is the natural follow-on. Many authors echo her advice.
