Although we're often thought of as a gregarious nation, that hasn't usually translated into making us feel connected enough. 0160; In the article in FORBES [August 24, 2009] "Loneliness Can Kill You," Monte Burke notes that it's gotten so bad that one-fourth of those surveyed in 2004 went on record as indicating that they had no one to confide in. 0160; It signals to us that we have Maybe it's because of a combination of individualism and capitalism. 0160; That could account for the growing loneliness in America.
